Los Angeles based composer Nick Pierone has been writing for film and television since 1993. Originally a singer/songwriter/producer working with numerous artists, Nick discovered that his compositional skills and piano training were a perfect fit for scoring.

His first big break came when he was asked to score the critically acclaimed feature "The Basement and the Kitchen." That job found him conducting an eighteen piece string section and working with renowned percussionist Butch Norton. He had found his home.

The distinctive personalities of numerous composers and songwriters has inspired him to always be true to his own musical voice.

K-9: P.I. from Universal Pictures and starring Jim Belushi was another important landmark. The picture required both an orchestral and rock score as well as a song for the end credits, a perfect fit.

Most recently, Nick has provided music for two Nickelodeon series, various independent films and the new Disney series "Coop and Cami Ask The World". His goal to bring fresh ideas, inspired melody and deep musicality to every production has never wavered. There is so much music yet to come.
